Evanix Viper Black .22/ 5.5mm

The Evanix Viper Black is a semi-automatic PCP air pistol that is cocked by means of a slide. After the air pistol is filled through the Foster connection, 12 to 14 shots can be fired. Operation is virtually automatic due to the comfortable grip and responsive trigger. The wooden grip panels are squared off and are an attractive addition to the black-finished aluminum exterior of the compressed-air weapon.

To mount aiming devices, the compressed air gun is equipped with a Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail, on which (removable) open aiming devices are already installed. A small window on the right side lets the user see if the Viper is already tensioned. On the left side is the safety catch that can be operated with the thumb. For adjustments to the hammer spring, the set screw on the back of the Viper can be adjusted. After the thread protector is removed, a silencer can be attached to the 1/2 UNF nozzle thread to reduce noise production.

The primary compressed air reservoir is under the barrel and the secondary compressed air reservoir is around the barrel (as the barrel jacket). These reservoirs can be filled to 250 bar through the Foster connection at the bottom of the Evanix Viper Black. The average number of shots per caliber – after a full fill – is as follows:
– 5.5 mm / .22: 14 shots
– 6.35 mm / .25: 12 shots

The spring-driven rotary magazine reliably feeds ammunition to the semi-automatic system. These warehouses have capacity for:
