The Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 is the new high-end thermal imager from Pulsar. This spotter features 640×480 sensor and a 17um Pixelpitch with a NETD value of <18mK. You can spot up to about 1800 meters with this spotter thanks to its 50mm lens.
This Pulsar Telos features a highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with a NETD value of <18mK. This ensures stunning thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even in the harshest weather conditions. This low sensitivity makes even the smallest temperature differences visible during rain or fog.
Thanks to this technique, the Pulsar Telos gives thermal imaging of the highest level. Details, clarity and contrast are even more apparent and perceptible. Objects that do not give off heat such as air, grass and water now become visible anyway.
You can operate this Pulsar Telos with one hand. This is Pulsar’s first thermal imager that allows you to zoom in without even pressing a button. In fact, in this model, the zoom function is built into the objective ring. When you turn this ring, the device automatically zooms in. Pulsar copied this from traditional cameras.
The Pulsar Telos features an LRF function with an accuracy of up to 1000 meters. The built-in rangefinder measures up to 1 meter accurately. So you no longer have to make mistakes in estimating distance, both during the day and in the dark.
The Telos is designed to withstand the harshest conditions. The temperature range from -25 to + 40 degrees Celsius. This device is completely waterproof even when fully submerged. The rubberized composite polymer housing has very good properties. The absence of protruding parts in the design, as well as the anatomical shape of the housing make this scope even better to hold.
This Pulsar Telos uses an interchangeable battery. This brand new LPS 7i quick-change Li-ion battery guarantees more than 8 hours of operating time. The LPS 7i does not require special chargers. You can simply connect it to the grid with a USB Type C port. In addition, the LPS 7i battery supports wireless charging.
This thermal imager is adaptable for both left and right-handed users. The vertically symmetrical layout of the control buttons allows this Telos to be operated with either hand.
The Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 features 8 different color palettes. Thanks to these different colors, you can still explore your surroundings in many different conditions. The standard colors White hot and Hot Black are the most commonly used. Of which the Hot Black is usually used at night.
The Red color makes you less likely to become “night blind.” The color sepia often improves perception at longer distances while Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance the temperature differences of different objects. Violet is often used to identify objects more quickly.
But in the end, you set the Pulsar Telos right once, so that it’s set perfectly for you, and then these settings usually stay in there forever, at least that’s been our experience.
The Pulsar Telos has a built-in memory of 32GB. Because there is a built-in memory on this thermal imaging scope, you can film or take pictures with it. So if you don’t want to miss anything more, or if you want to record your shot then this is definitely for you. You can watch these images back later on your phone or computer. If you want to do this on your phone, you can use the stream vision app. Want to watch it back on the computer? Then use the included USB cable.
This function is super easy to operate, as all you have to do is press the REC button. When you do this, REC appears in the upper left corner of the display. Once this is the case, time starts running and you are recording.
