HikMicro Stellar 3.0 SQ50L Thermal Imaging Scope

The HikMicro Stellar 3.0 SQ50L thermal imaging scope has a very low NETD (heat sensitivity) of only 15 mK. The lower the NETD value is, the smaller the heat difference the Stellar 3.0 can detect. With that low NETD of 15 mK, the thermal imaging scope captures even the smallest heat differences, which are then displayed on the OLED display with a resolution of 2560×2560 pixels with a good image refresh rate of 50 Hz. The Stellar 3.0 thermal imaging scope looks traditional on the outside and it looks strikingly similar to a conventional rifle scope, but with all the convenient features of a thermal imaging scope. Besides observing in the dark, for which the Stellar 3.0 is ideally suited, it is also perfect for calculating the point of impact. This is because the thermal imaging scope is equipped with a rangefinder (LRF, also known as laser rangefinder), which is located at the top of the objective lens. That rangefinder communicates directly with the internal ballistic calculator that this thermal imaging scope is equipped with. That ballistic calculator calculates the point of impact, following the measured distance, allowing a higher degree of purity to be achieved.

The HikMicro Stellar 3.0 SQ50L thermal imaging scope has a rugged casing that can withstand rough handling, and it weighs 830 grams without the external battery. In fact, it uses two internal rechargeable Lithium batteries and one replaceable and rechargeable 18650 battery. Together, those batteries guarantee nine hours of battery life. The housing has an IP67 waterproof certification, making it completely dust- and waterproof. This thermal imaging scope can be submerged in water to a depth of one meter for up to 30 minutes.
