The Gerber Vital Pack Saw is a compact and handy saw for cutting bones. Think of opening the rib cage of shot game or removing antlers. Of course you don’t want to have too much with you in the field. This Pack Saw is ideal. Due to its small size and weight, you hardly notice that you have it with you.
The blade is 8.8 cm long, with a cutting edge of 6.7 cm. The blunt tip reduces the risk of accidental piercing. The rubber parts of the handle ensure that you also have sufficient grip with wet or bloody hands.
It fits perfectly in the supplied nylon sheath. It can be mounted vertically on a belt up to 6.0 cm, or horizontally on a belt up to approximately 5.3 cm.
