These Reidmar Mid 2.0 GTX boots from Härkila are made of nubuck leather with a Gore-Tex membrane. Using the Uturn fastening system, the boots can be closed quickly and securely.

Thanks to the choice of materials, these boots are robust and waterproof, yet still breathable due to the Gore-Tex membrane. Reinforcement around the toe and heel ensures the foot is well protected and supported, while a rubber protective layer prevents wear in these areas. The soles are semi-rigid, with a profile that offers excellent grip. Shocks are cushioned by the midsole, which significantly improves comfort, especially during long walks. Molded insoles ensure the boots are even more comfortable, while the inside of the boot also dries faster when the insoles are removed.

A striking feature of the Härkila Reidmar Mid 2.0 GTX boots is that they do not need to be laced. The Uturn system from the company of the same name uses a very strong, 1 mm thin, plastic-coated steel wire that runs through specially designed eyelets. At the top, both ends of the wire are attached to a single dial, which is then used to tighten or loosen the wire. This allows the wire to be secured over the entire length of the boot using the dial. This not only makes fastening and unfastening the boots much faster, but also prevents laces from getting caught on vegetation.
