This articulated air rifle is cocked by holding, with one hand the stock and the other hand the barrel, firmly and securely and then pulling the barrel down.
The barrel kinks at the rear of the barrel.
As the barrel is pulled down, the piston will be pushed back, compressing the gas in the cylinder.
Keep pulling until the piston locks into place.

With a break barrel air rifle, the bullet is placed directly in the back of the barrel. After loading, the barrel is closed by rotating it back into its fixed position.
The air rifle is now armed and ready to shoot. After the air rifle is aimed at the target, remove the safety and press the trigger.
Moving the trigger backwards releases the piston and causes it to jump forward through the compressed gas.
This action compresses the air in the space in front of the piston.
The air is forced through an opening against the back of the pellet in the barrel.
The effect of all this will be that the pellet moves out of the barrel at high speed towards the target of your choice.

Remark

Many factors affect the performance and speed of an air rifle.
Results may vary up to 20% due to the make, weight and shape of the projectile, lubrication, barrel condition, indoor shooting, outdoor shooting, temperature, shooters skills and other factors. There may be a run-in period.
During this period, accuracy may be erratic and the air rifle may make more noise.

This will improve as the system rolls in.
