Hatsan Velox Semi-Auto PCP

This Hatsan Velox – FDE PCP pistol has a compact size (overall length of only 290 mm) and it weighs only 1250 grams. This makes it a maneuverable and easy to store and transport air pistol. It has a steel upper receiver and the lower receiver is made of synthetic material. The choked barrel is made of steel and it is protected by the sturdy barrel jacket. At the end of the barrel is ½ UNF thread that is covered with a thread protector as standard. This allows you to easily add a silencer to the Hatsan Velox – FDE.

Aiming tools & the magazine
For aiming, use the adjustable keep and grain with optical fiber. The keep is mounted on the hybrid Weaver/Picatinny and 11 mm Dovetail scoperail, making it easy to remove from the Velox. You can then choose to mount a red dot, for example. The rail is interrupted at the front by the magazine. The Hatsan Velox – FDE is available in different calibers, each with a corresponding magazine capacity:
– 4.5 mm / .177 – capacity of 14 projectiles
– 5.5 mm / .22 – capacity of 12 projectiles
– 6.35 mm / .25 – capacity of 10 projectiles
The grip is hollow and provides space for storing a magazine. This allows you to always have a spare magazine at hand.

Grip
That synthetic material grip has a rough texture on both sides for some extra grip. This FDE version of the Hatsan Velox is very comfortable in the hand and it features a new trigger system. This gives the trigger a light trigger pressure and allows you to pull it over very smoothly, which of course positively affects cleanliness. Above the grip, on the right side of the frame, is the side tension lever that allows you to pre-tension the hammer spring. This PCP pistol has a semi-automatic action.

PCP cylinder
The Hatsan Velox – FDE features a removable PCP cylinder, which is mounted under the barrel jacket. That cylinder has a capacity of 55 cc and it has a maximum filling pressure of 250 bar. You can easily monitor that filling pressure by using the external pressure gauge on the left side of the frame. Under that pressure gauge is the covered quick-disconnect Foster fitting, with which you can easily refill the PCP cylinder. Before refilling, read the manual carefully.
